Re: Two New Lucius images from Deathly Hallows

Wait, Helen8, I didn't say that he looked like Marty Feldman! By the gods, no, never! Neither Lucius or Jason looks like him! Yikes! aaa.gif

I only asked who Marty Feldman was because the name was familiar, and I couldn't place it. (And then I looked him up and realized who he was.)

Re: Happy Thanksgiving, Grils!

Yes, I agree! But they still haven't put the correct ending on it, nor are they showing the deleted scenes. :bat Bad, Bravo, bad! And how many times must I tell Tavington that he must not waste time doing the villain monolgue at the end???

Re: New Maximum Movie Mode video(s)

Yes, inamac, that is why we who love Lucius will always make him redeemable in our minds. :cherub I know it makes sense for Narcissa to be the one who starts the redemption (motherly love and all), but it would've been interesting to see Lucius' attempt at a familial redemption. Ah well, c'est la vi...

Wow - so many links, so little time. I will have to check these out after my parents clear out of my apartment after Thanksgiving, when I retreat into my recuperation bubble of apartment silence. :^) Thanks, Thunder!! :hug

Re: New Maximum Movie Mode video(s)

What? Me? Furious? No, I'm thinking of tomorrow's turkey. :D (just kidding to lighten our mood!!) I'm a Beth, too. There seems to be a glut of Beths here...or would that be a murder of Beths? A herd? Anywhoo... I have to admit that I also often wondered if JRK was playing "the game" of telling the m...

Re: WHAT HAPPENS TO THEIR DARK MARKS?

I bet the marks would stay in some way. Didn't JKR say that the marks darkened when the Dark Lord announced his return? I can't imagine the Dark Lord allowing his followers off the hook by having their marks entirely disappear - perhaps they would look less like the tattoo on Lucius' arm (HP DH:1) a...

Re: "Variety Article for Mid-Season Replacements!"

I know I'm veering a little off-topic (sorry!!!!!), but I just read this morning on the LA Times that Grimm has been picked up for a full season, so there is good news for Helen8, and maybe for shows that have some brain, like Awake (hopefully) will have. The one liner about Grimm is at the end, unf...

Re: New Maximum Movie Mode video(s)

Yes, I agree with you ladies. If she didn't love Snape, then how could so many of us have soaked so many tissues while reading and watching his final scenes? She wrote him so deftly. And Rickman played him so well that while you sort of knew that Snape had deep painful secrets, but you were not so s...

Re: Two New Lucius images from Deathly Hallows

Ha! Yeah, I totally missed it, too. And I saw it twice in the theater. Poor Lucius. He probably did have a reaction from the oozing sores on the back of Voldy's head. (blech) He does look like someone should hand him an antihistimine (and maybe an antibiotic or two from being too close to Voldy), a ...

Re: Peter Pan...AAIIEE!

I have to admit that even as a little girl I never liked the character of Peter Pan (often played by strangely creepy, older women on stage?- ewww! :gah:) or Tinkerbell (an angry, bitter fairy?). I liked Hook (the character) even as a little girl. Hook has a very valid bone to pick with Peter Pan- I...

Re: Peter Pan...AAIIEE!

Hehhehe, thanks :hug ...I'm not sure who would be more upset, Duran Duran, that they were chucked out by a pirate, or Hook, that he has to share my heart with "others" (and landlubbers at that!). :bag:

Re: Peter Pan...AAIIEE!

Hmm... Thanks, catloveyes! :D The power of Hook & music - it's managed to finally kick Girl Panic out of my head - and that was quite some feat, because it's been stuck in there since the beginning of October.

It's okay, Angel, we won't tell him. ;-)
