Re: BBC trailers (with some CH series 2)

I read a tweet from BBC one yesterday saying it will come out "later this year". I would have prefered "soon". Amazon still say the DVD will be out March 25... and that's the date I've been making my calculations from. But now I don't know. It still may be on on a different day, or later in March.

Re: BBC Scotland trailer (with some CH series 2)

Case Histories / Jackson Brodie is in the latest BBC Drama trailer (must mean we are getting closer). Found it here: http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2013/02/new-bbc-drama-trailer-makes-the-most-of-well-everyone/ (Region blocked. Seriously BBC, it's a trailer... ) http://i706.photobucket...

Not a review, but an interview with the director.

Re: Reviews: A Single Shot

I liked A Single Man too.
Here's another review:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2013/feb ... iew-berlin
William H Macy steals a few scenes as an oddball lawyer called Daggard Pitt, though he has a little more to work with than Jason Isaacs, as thuggish local villain Waylon.

Re: Reviews: A Single Shot

I haven't seen anything, and I'm loaded with work at the moment, so no time for any digging around. If there are interviews,I think we would have seen some of them without any digging.

Re: Reviews: A Single Shot

I found a version of the script a while back. And JI's character hasn't got a lot of scenes. From that, I'm thinking probably about 15 minutes screen time. But I don't think I read the final version of it... Anyway, maybe that's why they didn't find it necessary to mention him.

Re: Reviews: A Single Shot

http://grolschfilmworks.com/ca/reviews/a-single-shot ...while Jason Isaacs pops up as the main baddie but is horribly miscast, looking (and acting) more like Bono after an epic Guinness and kebab bender than a ruthless backwoods crimelord :lol Well, it's just one opinion... This doesn't sound as neg...

Re: Reviews: A Single Shot

I read an interview with the writer saying he had sold the rights, but didn't approve of any of the attempts of making a script out of his book, so he decided to do it himself instead. Maybe not the best idea... Review from Variety: http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117949200/ They don't like it much...
