and DVD Pacific http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=763289 I have the Region 4 (similar to Region 2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/State-Within-Complete-BBC/dp/B000K15G7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1230521190&sr=8-1) but I'm tempted to get the Region 1 so that I can own the two different covers....

I actually saw it earlier this year (it was procured via nefarious means) and thoroughly enjoyed it but it was great to watch it legally last night. And I was again disturbed by how well Jason can carry off mutton-chops. I do love a modern depiction of the 60s and 70s with all of the cringeworthy bl...

The Curse of Steptoe on UKTV (Australia) tonight (28th Dec)

I don't usually inanely scroll through Foxtel programming but last night I was pleasantly astonished to see that The Curse of Steptoe will be aired on Australian pay TV. :D It's scheduled to air at 6:30pm for those living in Western Australia and 8:30pm for those in the Eastern States (obviously, it...

Adding my thanks for posting these.

I always liked Viggo as an actor and it's lovely to watch his interviews. He's a genuinely passionate and principled person.

My mother-in-law is Finnish and mildly disgruntled that there are such theme parks as Lapland UK and Lapland New Forest.

But I can see the pros and cons of taking your family on a drive to Kent versus a flight to the real Lapland in the middle of a blizzard.

Okay, I can see that I'm gonna have to be the one to say it... But I meant when's JI going Full Frontal!?   But just think of every late-night interview with Ewan McGregor (who has bared it all several times on screen). Even Jeremy Clarkson mentioned Ewan's 'manhood' when he was ...

BTW, I think your "man" also visits my place because my beer is constantly disappearing. Bloody nuisance, that. Indeed! He surely has a mode of transportation which rivals that of Santa himself. Christmas will be spent with my Daddy and stepmom who was just diagnosed with breast cancer and the docs...

The afternoon of Christmas Eve will be spent in the nursing home where my defacto 101 year-old grandmother-in-law currently resides. She will scoff all the cheese fondue to make up for a year of eating gruel. She will then ask us to guard the chocolates from the dreadful man who steals them all if w...

As someone who lives in another country, I'd rather not address each of your individual points. All I can add is that I am an Australian who had my faith restored in Americans when I discovered Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. They filled the void left by the mainstream media 'sheeple' and reminded ...

If one must show blind deference to the President (and Vice President), then one may as well have a dictator or monarch. And humorous critique of elected officials and their party is a wonderful display of a modern democracy. Playing shoe-throwing games is certainly no less constructive and far less...
