I read about this and my heart just sank. I mean, am I the only one who thought, "Oh, Bourne 6.0"?
Also I could die contented never seeing Mel Gibson in any other movies ever.

Re: Jason Being Left Handed.
My UK-raised husband is 61. He's left-handed and learned to write using fountain pens, with no discouragement of his orientation.

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2021/mar/20/creation-stories-review-alan-mcgee-biopic-ewen-bremner-irvine-welsh The Guardian is underwhelmed: "It’s not unfun, exactly, to watch McGee going on an ill-advised coke bender with a sleazy film producer played by Jason Isaacs . . ." I get the impression ...

Why hasn't Himself mentioned this at all?? I think it looks great fun! Anniemouse, I too am a huge fan of "Into the Valley." Its only drawback is that I always feel compelled to sing along at the top of my lungs, but I can't make out any of the lyrics bar the title... :huh (Ewen Bremner also starred...

Re: Inside of You Podcast
I remember for years that we were never sure if they were actually legally hitched--every other interview would identify Emma as Jason's partner (which of course she always was)... That interview was a lot of fun. I am mystified by how flattering Michael Rosenbaum and Jason were about Keanu Reeves--...

Yup, I'm on JI's side--if there's a people on earth worse positioned to stand up and complain about strangers invading your country, swanning around in outlandish costumes, refusing to learn the local language and insisting their religion is the one true one than the ENGLISH, I don't wanna know who ...

From Entertainment Weekly https://ew.com/movies/film-festivals/mass-jason-isaacs-sundance-preview/ : "We all of us transported ourselves for a couple of weeks into this place of grief and rage and pain and hope and resolution and all the other colors in between," the actor recalls. "Then we came out...

I'm sorry for your loss, Annie. That experience must have been so difficult, and the loss of a parent is such a primal blow, especially to someone so young. I imagine it was incredibly comforting to have support like that--as you observe, the serious illness of a family member can be painfully isola...

Re: Help Needed.
Thank you for taking the time and giving localized advice, Servalan. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure I'd bother with Potluck . The movie is nonsensical, JI's part pretty brief (I think, it's been a long time), and I'm fairly confident that the copy I have is a legitimate commercial product, and...

Thank you, Anniemouse! 2021'd have to work pretty damn hard to be any worse than last year, so I am full of optimism!!

Re: Captain Hook makes a small appearance!
Thanks, guys!
In conjunction with putting this one together, I downloaded a new digital version of Pan (the picture is much better resolution than my old DVD), and have been really struck by how well it holds up. It's just a really good movie.
And yeah, Richard Briers was brilliant in it.

Captain Hook makes a small appearance!
This has been a very long time coming (I blame Trump), but at last, permit me to share an offer of holiday cheer from Very Small Smee: “Muscat, Miss?”
Happy hols, all!
