Re: Jason's tribute to Sir Michael Gambon

It's nice to hear Jason's tribute. He has always been so complimentary about his fellow HP actors.

Michael Gambon was so versatile, I've seen him play so many parts on TV and in movies.

Re: Hang on for 15 Jason movies on Netflixs to binge

I am assuming that is a US site? Anyway all those films are certainly not on Netflix in the UK, although a few of them are. I was hoping I could see Dig, but it comes up with "The Dig" which is an entirely different film. I then searched for a few more, with mostly negative results. :-(

Re: Appeal for Filmhouse Edinburgh

I have had a look at the appeal. It has some serious backing from Edinburgh Council and Creative Scotland/Screen Scotland, plus if they don't raise enough to actually reopen the cinema, donors get back their donations. So I have donated! :cherub Here's hoping The Filmhouse will reopen in 2024 as the...

Re: Appeal for Filmhouse Edinburgh

The Filmhouse used to be the hub of the Edinburgh International Film Festival. It was one of two art house cinemas in the city centre - the other, The Cameo, is still going thankfully. When The Filmhouse closed, the EIFF stopped too. There was a truncated film festival this year in other venues, so ...

Re: Case Histories on TV Aug 2023

It has now come up as available to watch on the link I posted, but of course I have no idea if this applies outside the UK.

Case Histories on TV Aug 2023

The first two episodes of Case Histories (the complete first story if I remember correctly) are on the UKTV channel Drama tonight 26 Aug starting at 9 p.m. Drama generally shows programmes that have first aired on terrestrial TV channels in the UK, often years after they were made. I don't know if y...

Nice piece of film, and nice interaction between the two guys. I'm surprised he got such good photos that way.

Thanks for those pics. It's interesting to see the make-up job that has been done to make Jason look like Cary Grant.

Re: BAFTA TV Awards

I didn't watch it, so I caught up on iPlayer - here is the link for UK people. Jason's part starts at about 57 min. I remember Freema from Dr Who. I love the way Jason carried her train for her as they came on. Such a gent. He was introduced as about to star in the Cary Grant biopic - nice pu...

Nice pic. Even with my strongest magnifier, I can't tell what he's holding. :rave
As far as I can see, Jason has a pen in one hand, ready to sign, and in the other a clipboard holding the thing he is about to sign - a photo probably.

I agree, nice pic! :D
