Re: Interviews

This is oldish, a couple of years back, but I never saw it before and couldn't find it posted here (though I've been known to miss a few  ) but anyway, since I came up with it the other day, figured to share. Jason on a couch with Gerard Butler talking about Soccer Aid. http://youtu.be/1Hii_PPL...

Re: Dig Series

Not surprised to see "Dig" end up in the Political Material section, but at the same time, am totally surprised to see "Dig" end up in the Political Material section. In'9, it's not quite so hysterical here, you know. Over the border in Syria it's positively nuts. Lebanon is rather whacked out at th...

Re: Very Lengthy video interview

Whoa. It's true I haven't been here much lately, but am amazed that this thread got past me. Never saw it before.
Watching it in pieces now when a few minutes open up for sitdownquiet time.

What a terrific interview. And he looks .... lovely.

Glad to bump the thread for it.

Re: Watched it today (Spoilers) + Screen caps

A little behind the times, just saw it. Hmm. Well, I would see it even if he wasn't in it just because Ed Harris and Amy Madigan in a movie together (even if they're not together in the movie) makes me happy. I love them both. Am staying out of the did-he-have-a-breakdown-or-not thing. I think he wa...

Re: E-mails from Jason

Thank you, Thunder, for posting that and Jason for writing. A very nice Saturday morning treat. :D What a busy boy, and all great stuff. I'm very excited about DIG and Stockholm, PA; they sound as if they could be outstanding, both in critical acclaim and popular appeal. I'd also like to take this ...

Re: Reviews

This is in German: http://sennhausersfilmblog.ch/2014/01/29/sft-14-dawn-von-romed-wyder/ I once spoke German as well as English. But I haven't really practiced German since high school, so I'm very rusty. I think I understood some of it, but not well enough to translate word by word. I'm also think...

I'd quite like to fetch him hither.

Leave enough of him for me to take him yon, though, 'k?

Is "Awake" online for those of us not in the USA?

The links to the full episodes on the NBC official "Awake" website won't play from my location (the Middle East, a few kilometers inland from the Mediterranean), and instead gives the "We're sorry, but the clip you selected isn't available from your location" bit. I hate that. So. Anyone have a link?

I wanted to actually download it, but I'm embarrassed to admit that after reading Kim's advisory that the episode was available on iTunes, I couldn't find it. ihatemondays In the off-chance there are any among us who are similarly technically inept : point, here's some steps: right, so go to...

Re: Please list any promo you found here

On "Morning Edition" on NPR yesterday there was a piece on Kyle (Killen? Is that the last name?) I was listening online at work and the stream kept cutting out, so I missed a bit, but the basis of the story is that he keeps writing these very intense and critically acclaimed things that never succee...

Re: Interview with Israeli Radio

The highlight for me was hearing him speak Hebrew. Thanks, thunder. For the record, he fudged when asking "Yes, what do you want?" ( ken, ma 'at ... atem rotzim?" ), first starting the response in the singular (that's the 'at ), then carrying on with the plural ( atem ), after they asked him if he ...

Re: Harry Potter Alum & Johnny Depp

Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow are both Tim Burton films (he of Mr. Helena Bonham-Carter fame ... not to mention directing-many-movies fame). So maybe it's Harry Potter Alum and Tim Burton. :-)
