Mainly for the benefits of newbies who haven't seen them.

I've trimmed out the non-JI parts.

First is The Graham Norton Bigger Picture

I'll have time to do more later.

You're welcome! :D

This next one is the Saturday Kitchen show where Jason discussed his foods 'heaven' and 'hell'. He also talked about The State Within and Scars.
Love that blue shirt!

It's about 9 minutes long.

Ugh, JI's house as a boy sounds like DH's: he hates celery with a passion, as well as
cucumber
tomatoes
cilantro
dill
dried beans
sweet potatoes . . . !!!

thanx, Char...this is one of my fav interviews...

you know, when someone pays Mr Jason a compliment, talking about
his work, we see the "neck scratch" ...aaaaawwwww
must be a nervous thing....

I luv the way he actually shows his dislike for CELERY...

OK, next trip to London, we must eat at the RIVER CAFE!!

wow, Hils, that is weird...I also never liked sweet potatoes, until a few
years ago, and now I do whenever I can...LOL

I love sweet potato - I eat it plain with out all the butter and sweet stuff.

Celery is rabbit food - gets caught in the teeth - yuk!

Funny how some foods appeal to some and not to others!

My Dad just hates mushrooms so we never got them at home when I was a child - but I adore them!!!!!

Candied yams are my favorite Thanksgiving dish.

I never ate celery or artichokes, yuk!

Jason doesn't like seafoods, hmm..have to remember that.

as a joke, the next time, we should bring him some celery..LOL

I don't think I've eaten an artichoke, and don't want to...

I hated celery, even when I was a kid...too stringy for me..

Oh, man. Love celery, artichokes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms. My list of dislikes is 2 items: lima beans and lentils. Guess it's their grainy texture. Yuck!

LOL Image

The way he cringed at that celery was adorable!!

What surprised me was at the end where he's offered the glass of wine, and he clearly states that he doesn't drink! *sigh* Now there's a man after my own heart, and after being in a bad relationship with an alcoholic, a man like Jason is a breath of fresh air!!

Sadly, I do love celery, and seafood!

But I don't like Lima beans and I hate Spinach (the frozen kind that looks like barf)...UGh, I had to eat some as a kid, and nearly puked it back up..GAH!!
