Hi, I am Seattle Mel (short for Melanie) and am new by comparison to most of you with my, uh, preoccupation with JI. I dunno why, but Awake pretty much single-handedly did it for me.

New wrinkles in my life as a result:

I have discovered that the infatuation is *retroactive* such that films that I had *previously watched* with no swoon-y side-effects now cause just that.
My very patient and loving partner has watched the Netflix queue become populated with the strangest assortment of movies. Political war pics, kids movies, low production value television shows from the 90s. What could possibly account for these strange new viewing habits?
I may have to get an external drive to house all the pictures of Himself that I've saved off the web since March.

Okay finally I'll end with a beg. If anyone has copies of the Rankin photoshoot (he's bearded, hand to face) I would LOVE copies just for my hard drive and me.
