Jason Isaacs was kind enough to dash this off from Chicago:
I'm juggling having to work out what to do in the scenes and bond with the magnificent Brian Dennehy who's just arrived . . .
Anyway, here I am and thanks so much for your (you and all the fabulous Isaacsettes) continued love and support. I've not been checking in partly, also, because I was embarrassed at how little there was to report. Pretty much every project fell apart as soon as I signed on - in fact I was beginning to think I was a jinx! Finally I went to LA and was temporarily the prettiest girl at the dance as I was offered pilot after pilot. I didn't like any of them and had returned to London determined to wait until next year when they called with the offer for Pleading Guilty, which I'd been hoping for all along. Who the hell knows if it'll get picked up but I'm having a great time making it: lovely, smart, talented people and a rare chance to be slightly less than tortured on the screen. We'll see what happens.
When I get home it's straight into Great Ghost Rescue and then, possibly...ah but that would be telling! No contract, no gossip.
Till next time, I send you love and luck and, as ever, huge and humble thanks--
Jason x

Yeah, that. LOL I kind of liked the "half-mad nutters" thing. LOL
And am sending a thanks to Kate for being so poised and non-half-mad while in his presence the other day that it occurred to him to write it ...
