I GOT A NEW CAMERAPHONE!

Last week, my ex came down to see me, and he bought me a new camera phone.

I've been snapping photos of JI.....and there's more than one of Passionada. But, I'm having difficulty snapping Chaz. He's a "musthave".

It's just like the other phone I had before, but in a blue (much like our JI's eye color. *drools* ).
And, this time, I'm making sure NOT TO LOSE IT!

He's just trying to stay in contact with me. Our son graduates from HS this year, and he wants me to go.
I want to go, too. The last time I saw Johnathan, he was like 5.

That's far too long for a mother to go without seeing her child.

This may be indelicate but why? Was your ex awarded sole custody?

Marilaine, I do hope you go to your son's graduation. It'll be good for both you and Jonathan. Better late than never to renew your relationship with each other.

That's good. At least he's with family and not adrift in the foster care system.
I imagine that after all these years you've still tried to maintain contact, even if it's not face to face?

Regardless, I agree with Helen and Hil about attending the graduation. It'll be cathartic for you all.

Oh, I'm going......no doubt in my mind about that. I just hope I have enough tissues.....don't think I'll have dry eyes for any second.

It'll be my first vacay in years. I wonder if I can spend a week there?
