Run Fat Boy Run

Post by kjshd05 » Sun Apr 26, 2009 6:24 am

I know this movie has been out about a year, but I just saw it last
nite for the first time...it does concern the London Marathon, lasting
26 miles...funny thing, that same Marathon is today, in London...

This movie was really funny...if you have the opportunity, watch it...
Anyone else out there, who liked this movie??

I saw it just after it came out and I loved it, but then again I'm a Simon Pegg fan.
Boy can do no wrong, IMO. :D

I'll add it to my Netflix list.

The one he did as a cop in a small English town was a hoot. I laughed so hard. Even DH who normally does not appreciate some British films loved that movie. I wish I could remember the name.......

Can it have been "Hot Fuzz", Marie? I thought that film was hysterical. Maybe I should check out this one too? Thanks for the tip :D

I loved Hot Fuzz, but I'm afraid Fat Boy left me cool . . . could have been the title, though--it was more like Run Scrawny Guy with Tiny Pot Run . . .

*and besides, whenever I think "Fat Boy" I think of Tom SuperSizemore*

Is this the movie with Seth Rogan? I keep getting a mental image of him for some reason (Knocked Up)

Ohhh, it took me a while but then I remembered that I had seen this movie. I love Simon Pegg - he is hilarious. Shaun of the Dead is my favourite.

Note - he plays Scotty in the new Star Trek! I hear he is quite funny there too.

I don't know why, i've never seen 'Shaun of the dead'

I luved "Hot Fuzz", it was hysterical...JI was suppsed to have the part
that was done by Timothy Daulton....I can't remember why he couldn't do it...probably, was busy with Brotherhood....

I am looking forward to the new Star Trek movie...opens May 8th...

Timothy Daulton was great in Hot Fuzz but Jason would have been fabulous......

Oh, if you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead you'll have a blast. It is hysterical. Hot Fuzz was the 'sequel', totally unrelated, but got funding to be made because SotD was such a surprise hit.
