And if Jason had to be number 2, I can live with it being behind Alan Rickman. Nice to see Rickman made the list twice. James Mason was a wonderful villain in Prisoner of Zenda. All in all, a good list.

Thanks, Char.

It takes an exceptional actor to create a memorable villian. He's in good company. Thanks, Char. (ah...Tavie)

As someone who adores Gary Oldman, am happy he's on there, but he's on there for an American part. Norman was a NYC police officer. Thoroughly psychotic and twisted and evil, yes, but a NYC cop. American accent and all.

Real good list. I agree with it. Glad to see Jason there. He made the movie.

Yay for Jason! I love all the top three, really, my favorites being Jason and Tim.

Hm, waaait, I just noticed now that Alan Rickman made the list twice

Not that I'm complaining, he's a good actor (*coughs* although I haven't seen him in the roles mentioned)

Well, Angel. Those were two of his best roles. Hans Gruber in Die Hard—he was merciless; and Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood—he was mean and funny!
"You (pointing to a wench). My place. 8:15. You(pointing to another wench), 8: 30. And bring a friend!"

You must rent, preferably buy if possible, these 2 movies.

Hm, interesting point, a.p.k.!
Alan Rickman was so good in Robin Hood that he almost balanced how rotten Kevin Costner was!

I think Alan Rickman saved that version of and was the best thing about Robin Hood!

I'm glad to see Gary Oldman, who's played many evil characters, and Tim Roth who was a TOTAL bastard in Rob Roy made the list!

Hands up, whoever wasn't cheering for the Sheriff in the Robin/Sheriff battle?

Anyone?
