I can only imagine the chaos, Edinburgh is bad enough at the best of times but the main street that runs through Edinburgh [Princess Street] is a nightmare at the moment, it is closed to all traffic as they are placing track for trams, it is taking them forever to get it done and it is costing a fortune more then they first thought, at one stage they thought they were going to have to abandon the whole thing.Angel Tavington wrote:Finally an update, thanks Kim
The festival opens tomorrow...
*looking forward to pictures and videos*

Typical Scottish Parliament, if they had a brain between the lot of them they would be dangerous.

Skeletons has it's premiere on the 22nd, the very day I will be in Edinburgh, if I can work some stuff out I may see if I can get some tickets. I haven't done anything Edinburgh Festivaly for years!
DARN! Just checked times, Skeletons starts stupid early by which time the flippin Wiggles will probably be in the middle of Wags The Dog he likes to tango. What a PAIN!!

lots of pics, interviews, from last nite's opening ceremony:

"Jason Isaacs, arguably best known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films echoed this thought ;"one of the great things about film festivals is they highlight films that don't normally get the amount of press they deserve." If you're flicking through the festival programme, unsure on just what film to watch, try following Isaacs approach. "I book things I just like the title of and I try not to read anything about the films before they start."
