It's not that bad in Germany. Snow from november to march or april and not all the time but this year Germany is supposed to be a Winterwonderland :D

Man...I hate winter and wouldn't live in a cold place, I find it depressive.

For the record, it's very rare that we have snow in June here as well... But it has happened a couple of times that I remember.
The weather today is beautiful. Sunshine, clear blue sky and a lot of snow, it's like a Christmas card. :D
It's -8 C, not a problem as long as I dress warm, but I'm so glad I don't work outdoors.

POOP! I am not going to get to Edinburgh tomorrow, the trains are all cancelled because it snowed all last night and most of today, I can't even get a bus because the roads are all blocked, I dont even know if I will get a refund on my pre-purchased train tickets luckily they were only £20 but I dont think that's the point, if Scotrail can't provide the service I paid for surely I deserve a refund. Not holding my breath though. :bat

I think "act of God" will be their excuse for no refund, Heather. But still try.

It's even cold in Florida. I have a little portable heater going in my office!

It's going to be in the 30's tonight and for us here in Florida that's cold.

It was -18 C this morning, but it's clouding over now, so it will be milder, but probably more snow. I'm not complaining, at least my car still starts in the morning.

It's so icy today. It took me 40 minutes to free my car from snow and ice. Then on my way to work I slipped on the ice when I wanted to cross the street and fell. On my tailbone. Ouch! That hurts... Took me a few minutes to stand up again. And guess what the people did in their cars? Nothing. Nobody even asked if I needed help or if everything was alright....

Stay warm Grannybear - I just turned on the heat for the first time last night. Husband was bitching because it was cold but I keep the heat off as long as possible (I always tell him but on a sweatshirt!) I refuse to cover my plants - survival of the fittest over here!!

Marie...I'm with you. The plants have to take care of themselves. I've had the heat on all week but not high. If I'm cold I hop into bed with my goose down comforter , pull it up to my neck and turn on the TV. Nice and warm.

Really ticked off now! It has been snowing AGAIN and I am supposed to be going out tonight with the Friends with money [I'm Jennifer Aniston] Wearing anything with heels is going to be a nightmare for a start and it is forecast to be -4 degrees later so I am going to make a complete idiot of myself and wear my winter woolies, I am so peed off with this flippin weather I couldn't care less what they think.
