Maybe it's because The Death of Stalin came out in 2017. Good news about Hotel Mumbai. :D

But, but, but, it's coming out in the U.S. in 2018. Variety is a Hollywood daily paper. So. That's why I mentioned it. :D

Death of Stalin is satire. Hotel Mumbai is drama - it’s more in line with what US critics like. (At least that would be my best guess!)
