We have lost the lovely Kay

Post by Hilary the Touched » Wed May 22, 2019 2:44 pm

Very longtime JI fans may remember Kay Oliver, who was webmistress of another site and was so remarkably kind and gracious when we Yanks trooped over to watch Himself onstage in “The Dumbwaiter.” I am saddened to report her apparent death.
She leaves behind many many grieving friends and happy memories.
Here's a not very flattering photo of us in London (Kay is the lady in red):

How sad. I remember Kay. Yes she was Britkay. I met her in London when we went for the premiere of one of the HP films. Not sure if Himself showed up or not, if so we didn't see him. It was raining really heavily, and we gave up & retired to a nearby restaurant to dry out. Kay made us all blue balloon badges for the occasion. I think the rain was so bad that the talent all rushed from their taxis straight into the cinema.

Kay met Jason a few times, and told us about it.

RIP Kay, and condolences to her family and good friends.

How sad! I met her at several events over in London. I still followed her on Facebook and always appreciated her posts there. RIP lovely lady!

I'm so sorry to hear that she has passed. I never met her, but I do remember her as the Admin. of the Jason site.

Hello Dear Ladies,
So very sorry for not being here for a very long time. Life is not always easy and I know that you have all always
been here for me, always aiding me in all of my hard times. I am going to be coming back on as I so believe
that I need to get out of myself and my times of depression....very tired of the sad feelings.

I had heard about BritKay and wanted to express my feelings about her loss...she was so kind when we met in London, making
the blue balloons and just being the sweet lady she was. I hope she didn't suffer in anyway...she was so kind to so many.

Thank you all so much and I apologize for not being here...

Kate :hug

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this. Virtual hugs to all of you. This winter/spring seems to be a hard one for folks. My personal, real life circle has lost people as well. :-(

Hi catloveeyes, It's good to "see" you!
