The Lost Girls Film Club
We talked about this during our Archie-talk, that it would be fun to rewatch some older projects and talk about them.
I was thinking maybe not more than one movie per month, so we have to time to see it and "talk" about it. We can also do TV series, but maybe then stretch it out over longer time, or decide to just rewatch a couple of episodes.
We can even make a new subforum for it, if we want to.
What do you think, do you still want to do it?
And do you have any ideas?

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
Do we want heavy things or something light and funny?
I'm good for the begining with everything except maybe war movies, because we have enough of that around us.
Maybe Event Horinzon? Or Rosemary's Baby?

I nominate The Fix, Inside Number 9 Ashendon, Dangerous Lady (TV)
Peter Pan, After the Fall or Skelletons (film)
My no 1 choice is the Fix.

I don't really have a preference for what movie we should start with, but I'd like it to be something Jason has a major part in.

If it comes to The Fix - I haven't watched it yet. Found it on you tube in 4 parts cut off's, but I don't know if it's the whole thing.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
I don't think all of The Fix is on YouTube, the movie is longer than the 4 parts all together. It's just Jason's scenes, I think. I don't have access to Ashenden, I only watched a version with unsynked audio on YouTibe a long time ago. And Jason isn't in it that much, either, and I can't find it on YouTube anymore.

They must have taken it down because I did see the whole version in 2020.
Just had a look and that looks like something was chopped out(although not much) I think it was worth watching but maybe not for the group discussion. I enjoyed it though. Forgot that Steve Cooghan was in it too.

I wouldn't mind to watch The Fix again, but we all need access to it. I think his role in Ashenden is too small for it to be a high priority, maybe when we are further down. the list... and we need access to it, of course.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
So maybe a Peter Pan or Cure for wellness?
Or Mass?
It's on you tube, the whole movie

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
I'm OK with Peter Pan for start, since both of you have suggested it, and I haven't seen the whole movie in a very long time.
Do you think we need a new subforum just for the film club? I thought it would be nice to keep it separate from the other topics, so it doesn't drown in other posts and topics about everything else?
What do you think, do we plan to keep on doing this?

I think a subforum would be cool. As long as I can find it as my sense of direction is useless By the way I watched The Fix again. I just checked and it was a 90 minute show so where an earth the rest has gone is anyones guess.
Love the idea of Peter Pan.

The subforum will be on this board. I'll just create a special place for it, like we do with all new projects when they come out. You'll find it
The Fix on YouTube is edited down to only show Jason's scenes, I think.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
That's great. Looking forward to it.
Do we need a deadline to watch? (I watched it so many times I can literally recite it, but will have another good reason to watch it again )

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club
I don't think we need a deadline..?
My work can be extremely busy some weeks, and I need som flexibility. Like now, when all end of term grades needs to be registered tonight, and here I am posting. Only one class left...
I was thinking maybe we do a new movie every month or so, but we can sort this out as we go along. If someone want to post on Peter Pan after we have moved along to a new one, why not? We can talk about several movies at once, can't we?
