Solitaire for Two

 Well, just call me Nasty old Grandma yet again!
I really enjoyed this perfectly silly movie, had fun watching all of it, including JI playing the best buddy of Mr. Cutie Pie Mark Frankel......this is getting ridiculous when I see these boys younger than my oldest grandson and just keep on LOOKING! Naturally Jason looked good, did his usual professional job, and I will be forced to look at this several more times. Obligatory self-torment.

:-( I looked for pictures of Mark Frankel, and learned of his untimely death. A real lose, I think. He was very good.

There is nothing wrong or inappropriate with the appreciation of beauty and talent, whatever your age or circumstances.

It would be wrong and inappropriate for you to desert your loving husband of decades to take up with a shallow cabana boy who quits his job and convinces you to max out your credit cards on buying gold jewelry and Italian shoes for him, yes, but enjoying Jason Isaacs movies? As Gillian sez, no harm, no foul.

Thank you again, Hilary! I understand, and I believe the same things. My husband thinks it is so funny that I like these boys. He likes girls too, from our distant lounge chairs. He sits with our Siamese cat, Ivan the Terrible, on his legs with a blanket and does Sudoku puzzles by the hour, and laughing at me as I try to learn to work this Magic Machine! You see, he is a retired Nuclear Engineer and Reactor Engineer, who specialized in computers at the Savannah River Plant where they once worked on the components of the hydrogen bomb! By nature he is an engineer and mathematician and he absolutely refuses to touch a new computer, including our new computer, which he calls, "the wife's machine." He never reads my semi-porn short stories and novellas, and I do not criticize his taste in puzzles! Love is grand, but lust is okay!

I liked this movie as well, simply because it was a silly plot...
Mark Frankel, was killed in a motorcycle accident after this film...
such a shame, he had a promising career ahead of him....

I remember Mark Frankel from Kindred. So sad when he died. I believe Jason attended his funeral.
