FAVORITE LINE OF DIALOGUE

Post by marilaine » Sun Apr 05, 2009 5:49 pm

I had this topic started on another site, so I thought I'd start it here.
One of my fave lines is from 'Passionada' :

Charlie: We'd love if you'd join us for a drink.
Celia turns and is greeted by Lois, who waves and smiles at her.
Charlie: She's the wife of a friend.....it's not what you think.
Celia: And, how would you know what I'm thinking?
Charlie: I know a little about a lot of things.
Celia: Congratulations! (walks away)

:-( Poor Charlie! :hug Don't worry, Charlie.......we :adore ya!

From...The Patriot!!! Of course! (is anyone surprised? LMAO!)

Tavvy: "Yoooou! you're the ghost, are you? I remember you! On that farm! That stupid little boy! Did he die? Uh? You know it's an ugly business, doing one's duty...but just occasionally, it's a real pleasure.

Stumpy: Before this war is over, I'm going to kill you.

Tavvy: Why wait?

Stumpy: Soon.

Another line:

Cornwallis: "My reputation suffers because of your incompetence! That man insults me!"

Tavvy: "Quite impressive for a farmer with a pitchfork, wouldn't you say?"

There are so many from The Patriot. Two faves-"Didn't you say that all those who stand against England deserve to die a traitor's death? Burn the church, Captain!" and "Fire the house and barns! Let it be known that if you harbour the enemy, you will lose your home." ;-)

Right now, one of my favorite lines is from Divorcing Jack. The scene where Starkey learns that Cow Pat has Trish.

Starkey: You f****r!
Cow Pat: That's very kind of you, Starkey. But, I already f****d her!

The expression on JI/Cow Pat's face after saying that, is priceless! I love it! In fact, that scene is where my avatar came from!

I'll come up with more favorite lines later, I have many!

I love that line! The way he says it! Gives me the chills! (Close to my house there's a street called "Steele" and I remember Jase's character from Black Hawk Down

One quote that I loved from my dear Lucius <3
Papa Weasley: We have a very different idea of what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy.
Luscious Malfoy: Clearly. Associating with muggles. And I thought your family could sink no lower.
I remember he said that line I yelled in the movies "OH SNAP!"

Also when he was at Hagrid's Hut and he was leaving and he said
Sexy Malfoy: Admirable sentiments. Shall we?
*THUD*

My ultimate fave Lucius line:
Señor Malfoy: Let's just everybody, calm down... shall we?
*screams and runs around*

Lucius: Mr. Potter.....we meet at last. Lucius Malfoy. Forgive me. Your scar is legendary...as,of course, is the wizard who gave it to you.
HP: Voldemort killed my parents. He's nothing more than a murderer.
Lucius: You must be very brave to mention his name.....or else very foolish.
Hermione: Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself.

That FBI agent brings him for questioning regarding Ellis Franklin, and he's sucking down a cherry-flavored Icee. When the agent suggests that Michael killed Franklin and disposed of the body, he told him that line.
I dunno why, but it really cracked me up.....:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol ::rofl

Me, too.
I really wish they'd include bloopers on the Season 3 discs.....I'd prefer to see that instead of DEXTER. :spew2
