Col. Tavington unreal and gorgeous.

A catch-all for older favourites.

;-) That site for Valet #2 is just marvelous! I saved it all so I could read it several more times! A great insight into movie production, and some nice notes about Himself! Reminds me of when a bunch of my friends at Grad School in Theatre were in the production of "Swamp Thing" down in Charleston. Their biggest complaint was gaining ten to twenty pounds because of the great food served everybody!

It's funny, I exactly looked The Patriot yesterday evening. It's one of my favorite films. Tavington is really a character whom we like hating. I do not grow tired of it.

And I'm writing a Tavington fanfic. :P
I enjoy writing short stories so I thought "why not make a fanfic?". It's really entertaining, the Patriot is my favourite movie.
Will Tavington does NOT die in my story, he's just too cool to die. Aaand Ben Martin (stumpy) gets killed, hehe. *evil laugh*

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm so damn obsessed with that character.

(double post, sorry)

Angel, I think that it is one of better role of Mr Isaacs. He gives a lot of charisma to the character of Tavington and it is what what makes him so charmingly terrible. I like very much him in this role ;-)

Siren, I intend to post the fanfic on my blog or maybe on a separate site in the future. I'm still working on the story.
There's an amazing site of Tavington fanfic stories, I just need to find the link to it.

Anyways, today I bought an excellent book called "1776" by David McCullough. I wanna study and learn more about the American Revolutionary War period because I'm thinking of writing an original story based on it, besides, researching is always fun. "The Patriot" movie is like an inspiration to me...LOL!

I agree and I think Tavington is his best role ever! (in my opinion).
Personally, I love to see Jason in epic movies, he's great!

So yeah...I love Tavington. NO, wait, WE love Tavington...LOL!
Welcome to the club, girls! :yip

I found the link, here it is:

It's a cool site.

I write for fun and I really enjoy doing it. But I want to become a serious writer someday, I plan to publish a book. I write short stories, fanfics and philosophical essays (hm,I'm an inquiring mind) to get things off my mind. I used to write songs but I dont anymore. I'm not a terrific writer, but sometimes I just get inspired. And writing is like an outlet for me, a way to get my feelings out. I feel the need to write.

So I enjoy writing a fanfic about Tavington. He is an interesting and complex character. Most people consider him a villain but he's a cute hero to me. LOL! I don't think he is totally evil (nobody is totally good or bad), besides I think that Tavington follows his own morals, he's just a soldier in the service of the King. Okay, he uses some brutal tactics, but in his mind he's doing the right thing. Tavington is not a saint but if you look at the bigger picture...well you can't simply label him as "bad" (in my opinion). I may be wrong but that's how I view the character.

Now sorry for this little rambling, I talk too much. LOL! But Tavington is fascinating!

I also love reading fan-fics, since I suck at writing them...I wish I didn't though, cos I could write a doozy about the dream I had the other night about my being kidnapped and ravished (over and over) by our beloved Col. Tavington!! Definitely NC-17 material!! Image
