Well, it's not playing any place in the Tampa Bay area. But they say probably by the end of January.

Helen, anything near you?

It's getting closer. Irvine's about 80 miles away. I'll hold out one more week for San Diego.

After I went through hellish traffic travelling to City to see this excellent film it opens up a few days later not 10 miles from my job. That's always my luck. :???: But I'm glad I finally got to see this. Its such a moving and haunting film. Not your average hollywood fare. Viggo was superb I think but our Jason was an absolute scene stealer. He was definitely at the top of his game. The range of emotions he can project so seamlessly in a manner of seconds is mesmerizing.
I've never read or seen the play. I found it very pleasing that Jason's character wasn't a meek victim. To see such a such a masculine, dignified rascal of a man get his pride broken bit by bit while desperately trying to hold onto his dignity was very moving. All the while I just thought it was so masterful the way Jason was able to show Maurice's vulnerability while not over-acting and making him look pathetic. I swear Jason is absolutely amazing. :hands

Todays paper has it's weekly entertainment section and again GOOD does not show up. It's as if it disappeared off the face of the earth.
Does anyone know what's happened to it? Will I have to wait for the DVD?
Will there be a DVD? Inquiring minds want to know.

It was released last week in the UK, right? I'm not sure when the rest of Europe saw it, but it first showed here (in Israel) in December, a few days before the war in the south heated up and a month before national elections, so it all kind of got lost in the distractions (I live at the top end of the south, so it was a distracting time). It's not showing here now.

:-(
