Jan 23rd US Release

Post by kjshd05 » Fri Jan 23, 2009 9:00 am

I've checked all the cinemas, within a 50 mile radius of where I live,
and this includes 3 states: PA, DE and NJ. Couldn't find 'Good',
nowhere.... :???: :bat

It is a bad sign that THINKFILMremoved any mention of GOOD from their website.

Neither in 'Now in theatres' nor 'Coming Soon' category........

We'll at least I'm fairly hopeful that this will get a DVD release.

You know, Angel, I was just thinking the same thing! Why is it that there is so much fluff out there that gets so much more notice and then here is a great movie with excellent reviews that just gets brushed by the wayside? I am not saying this because this is a movie with JI in it, but good grief! Two outstanding lead actors and a unique story line, grr, I think I am just beating my head against the wall!

Still nothing for San Diego.

Distribution is expensive. As the movie isn't a blockbuster, it may be difficult to continue to widen the release. We'll all just have to keep our fingers crossed that we get to see it.

this is positively bleak, Char...but, it's also only been out on a limited
release, here in the US...dammit, if it were showing here, I would go
see it...my movie complex has 16 theatres in it....but, still NO 'GOOD'...

I keep checking our local independent theater, but nothing so far.
Got my fingers crossed, and praying silently to myself it comes here.
Someone mentioned at work that she thought an AGM wanted to go see it, and that it might be showing in San Antonio.
I'd rather see it here *pointstoC.C.*!

Poor Viggo's not having a very good year . . . Appaloosa seems to have gone pretty well straight to DVD as well. :-(

I opened the weekend section of the newspaper this morning expecting to see a review or at least see the movie in the theatre listings but no luck. It's not there and no mention whatsoever.
I don't think it will ever show here. Too bad I was really looking forward to it. Guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Well, the foreign take is better than domestic. Let's hope that that keeps it afloat for us to see it.

In my opinion, according to what I've read, Thinkfilm isn't doing too
well, financially....could be the reason why we don't see 'Good' in a
wider release....

I checked their entire site, and found nothing about 'Good'...WTF??
their last news article was from May 2008....
