Now I feel guilty that it has been showing here in two cinemas in Perth for the last two weeks.

Finally saw it today - it was a lot more powerful than I expected.

And we're hardly a cultural capital.

I wasn't the only person in the theatre either. Admittedly, it was cheap-arse Wednesday.

I had been planning to see it last week with a local JI-loving friend but she fell ill and had to cancel. I took the opportunity yesterday when I finished work early and speed-walked to the theatre, making it to the opening credits with 3 minutes to spare.

I've never watched a movie on a big screen on my own before and I do believe that it heightened the experience. Consider me converted.
