If he's Delta, he might have his hair; if he's a Ranger, I'm afraid we're pretty well doomed to a high-and-tight.
God, no. It has to be one of the butt-ugliest things man has ever conceived.

Matt Damon, top box office draw...the director, is the same, well known for his action films..

could this be the big box office break thru we've been hoping for???

and yes, if he gets his hair buzzed, how will that effect Michael
Caffee???....

they could always say he had to have an operation, after Kath whacked him on the head (then she slapped his face, twice)...

sorry, just thinking out loud...LOL

They could dust off the old Passionada Charlie Beck wig. I know everyone LOVED that one.

Hair extentions are used quite a lot on movie sets these days for both sexes. They're more comfortable for the actors than wigs. If I'm remembering correctly, Matt Damon finished the Daparted with short dark hair on a Friday and walked onto the set of the Good Shepherd the following Monday with long brown hair.

Easy to do.

Thanks for that, PBS--my only exposure to hair extensions has been sometimes seeing the weaves that are occasionally applied to contestants on America's Next Top Model (Sprog's viewing choice, not mine, I hasten to add). Can you use extensions when the subject's hair is really really short? Don't you have to have sort of, you know, base hair to attach the extensions to?

My recollection of an extra's report is that the wig Jason Isaacs wore for The Patriot was attached, in part, with glue so I can absolutely believe that extensions are more comfortable!!

An American Officer - cool.

My hairdresser says you need a certain minimum hair lenght to attach extentions to. I also takes ages and I do mean ages. I remember reading an article about the Horetio Hornblower series - the principle actors got hair extensions rather than wigs. Robert Lindsay said something about sitting next to Naomi Campbell for hours on end getting these hair extensions glued on.

Guess it would depend which branch of service Jason's character is in as to how long or short his hair is. If he was in the Air Force he would just require a little clean up around the ears!! :D

Hopefully this will be a big role. After the GG nomination for "The State Within" and excellant reviews for "Brotherhood" he's due for a nice big, fat role on the big screen. He deserves it.
