I hope if it's picked up that they don't have just the usual lawyer shows.
The book sounds as if they good get into all kinds of law. International, etc.

From the time Jason took to decide about those eight pilots he must have had good vibes about this one. This wasn't decided by the flip of a coin.
Everything sounds right. Let's hope it is.

I don't remember where I read this and I've gone back and can't find it, but a item about the casting starts-

"The always awesome Jason Isaacs".

Boy are they right. Awesome says it all.

I wonder why in interviews when he's asked about his future he never mentioned this show? Unless all the interviews were before this was announced.
I'm anxious to hear about this. Not Green Zone. That is Matt Damons show. This is Jasons.
I know everything is GZ now but I'm impatient to hear more about this.

grannybear, I think it may be bad form in the business to go on about another production you're in when you are "on the road" promoting the current production. Sometimes the interviewer will ask "What's down the road for you?" Then, the actor can make a small mention of the other project.

I think the reason can be that it is still only a pilot too (even if we all hope and think it's going to be a series). Maybe he has been told to not talk about it too much before it gets picked up.

I think it's definitely going to be a series, I'm really optimistic. It sounds like a good plot and they picked an amazing actor for the leading role.

TV Guide that just arrived today says the major networks have ordered 86 pilots for next season so far.
This made me nervous at first but then thought, from a good author, good producers and excellent lead actor it still sounds good.

86?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Putz, that's too many pilots. But I still have hope, huahuahua.

Wow! They really do want to cover all bases! But I'm not worried about our man!

Lots of actors--hell, lots of people--are superstitious, and may be reluctant to 'jinx' a project before it's picked up. :-|

These pilots are all about chemistry between the actors (or if it's still promesing it gets some new actors), buzz, and numbers (demographics) - for Fox it's the young adult teens to thirties audience they seem most interested in. From what I've read this could have what it takes to make it. Hopefully they will show it after a good lead in show!

A few weeks back I was reading a Q&A with one of the Fox honchos in Variety. In discussing their formula for success the honcho replied that they look for subjects that appeal to young men, but make sure they cast a lead actor that is appealing to the ladies!

Now that's a good formula - especially if the lead actor is Jason.

Let me se if I can find that article.
