Shooting

This pilot for a Fox television series, based on the novel by Scott Turow, was tragically not selected for production. Bastards.

Chicago looks like a beautiful city (from what I've seen from pictures and videos), I'd love to visit it some day.

Chicago is a very interesting city. The lakefront is beautiful and there are many fine museums. Lots of things to keep you going. Except for flying through it, it's been 40 years since I've been there but I hear it's still a fascinating city.

Ladies, ladies - JI's trousers are sporting a full break on the hem - classic detailing for tailored suits and designed so as not to reveal too much ankle (or sock top) whilst seated.

Somehow that clashes with the split lip, eh?

Kate, I've heard that, too. Except over-the-calf socks would accomplish the same thing without having the slacks that look too long for the man, which make him look unkempt. And I'll be designing a men's line next year. ;-)

It wasn't the length I was objecting to, it was the yards of fabric billowing sloppily over his thighs and making him look positively zaftig, when we know how willowy he really he is!

On edit: I suppose it might be exacerbated if he's stuffed his pockets with Crackberry, keys, wallet, earphones, El tokens . . .

Mack Malloy is 250 lbs and 6-3(or4) with an immense gut in the book. Be grateful Jason didn't have to wear a fat-suit like in Steptoe & Son :D

Oh I sure hope they don't do that Char but they seem to be changing some things from the book.

And I'm sure there's a lot more changes to come.

How about an English accent? That would be nice. : - P

Actually, I would just be happy to see this pilot some day, and even happier to see the series picked up so I can watch Jason in multiple episodes, and to buy the dvd, and to see articles and interviews, etc...

Thank you so much to everyone who shared photos and links and such. Loved the pic of Jason puckering up. Love that mouth of his! :adore :brows

(I also like John Larroquette. :D )

Have someone been shopping at the same place...?
I'm sitting here watching The State Within, and all of a sudden, I see a familiar tie...

And then I realize that the suit is very similar too. It's not the same shirt though (This is white the other blue).

I take back what I said about the tie being ugly, it looks very nice...
