This pilot for a Fox television series, based on the novel by Scott Turow, was tragically not selected for production. Bastards.

I know nothing about how film business works, but if a company has spent lots of money making a pilot with hot stars, hot script, from a top novelist, and it is not picked up as a series, can the owners of it sell it as a tv movie by adding stuff, working on the plot? No idea! But I would certain look at it, and buy the dvd too..

I should have known when I heard it was produced for Fox that nothing would come out right. Damn!

Looking right now at the previews of the summer shows and reading about the fall shows I can't believe that PG was that bad that it wasn't picked up.
Can't figure.

Maybe they didn't think it was bad, maybe it just didn't fit their channel profile... ?
(In that case, I don't like the profile...)

You have found the key to this whole PG thing! We do not like their entire profile! No wonder I never, never put my tv on their network, though we occasionally watch an episode of Bones frm the past which is playing regularly on another network! Thanks, dear! And glad you had a happy Nation Day for Norway yesterday!

If I'm correct awhile back they cancelled Saving Grace. Even though it was shown on TNT if was produced by Fox. The reason given was that it was too expensive.
Maybe that's the case with PG. There were some big names and maybe on second thought they didn't want to pay the price.
Oh what the heck! Maybe the powers to be just didn't like it.

I don't usually watch FOX...but Thunder made a good point, maybe PG didn't fit their profile. Well, who knows...maybe it will be picked up by another network?
