On the same page that thunder posted, http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/news/ ... ticle.html, is a link to play a short version of the film (which works fine in Virginia!!). No JI in the portion I saw.

(I've actually stayed overnight just outside Matlock Bath. To be perfectly honest, it was a bit horrifying--like Harper's Ferry, in high tourist season.)

Love the mustache. Can't be too comfy in those clothes, tho. Bath, England looks to be really sunny and warm now.

Thanks for telling that the short film was there, Hilary. I didn't see that.

My sixth sense tells me that the short film is the beginning of the full feature film and that Jason is the lord that the short/dark haired one talked about in the beginning. The lord that had killed his wife/maid (?! sorry, don't quite remember) and reminds him of Freddie Mercury ::rofl

I think they're two separate entities, guys. The short film was made back in 2006 and premiered at the CAN Leicester International Short Film Festival. The one they're making now is the feature length version.

Looks weird too, and funny.
Just my cup of tea. :D

Yeah, took me a bit to work that out, Gillian  .
BUT--I'm pretty sure the Lord they were discussing was Lord Lucan: http://www.lordlucan.com/lucan_story.htm

Well now, that's a creepy tale!

BTW, if you go to the Derbyshire photosales website and type "Jason Isaacs" in the search box, you'll be able to see all the photos taken that day ...

Always being practical,
The article says "there is no money".
Doe that mean the movie is being made on a shoestring or that nobody gets paid?
That's not possible is it?

*Goes back to article*

Thanks Gillian.

Totally irrelevant to anything, but just quoting from the article, there is no way, no way in hell, that JI said "I was absolutely memorised."

The word is "mesmerized."

 You guys really research this. Very impressive, I just thought he looked like Freddie Mercury with that moustache an drew my conclusions ::rofl
I promise I will try to become more serious...

I was memorised? (when watching a short film) Is that even possible?

Um, no. As APK sensibly points out, it should be mesmerized. As we are while watching Jason Isaacs, but not to the degree that we mindlessly publish sentences that make no sense.
Thanks Gillian! (hmm, he does look faintly Lucanlicious there . . . )
