You shouldn't need to buy a separate player, grannybear. All DVD players are multi-regional, they just lock it to a particular region. All you need to do is change the coding which is pretty easy if you go to this site:grannybear wrote:I think I'm going to have to break down and get region 2 DVD player.
With so many of his movies not showing here it has become a necessity.
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks and put in the name and model of your player. In the majority of cases, you should be able to find the code to unlock your player.
You may also need to change your tv settings to accept PAL signal as well as NTSC (North American signal).

That's an interesting CV that Another Tongue provides--there's stuff listed there that's NOT on IMDb (like Spice World, which I think our site was certainly the first if not the only site to include)--but a couple that aren't on there too . . .
