Thanks for the find. The reviews are excellent.

I love the way the Telegraph describes the Jackson Brodie character as "appealingly shambolic."

Glad to read JI will be playing a rather nice bloke.

Cheers,
Kate

You're right Kate. It'll be nice to see him as an OK guy. It doesn't happen that often.

Thank you ladies very much,:hugs I really want to read these and knowing the order is helpful.

I am just relishing in the idea of seeing Jason every week....of course that probably won't happen until 2012 if at all. :-(

Had to look up what shambolic meant:

Webster's= (Brit. informal) confused, disorderly, chaotic, etc.

The first three books are on Kindle - there should be one more to be released soon. Yea!

It's a great word, isn't it, Grannybear? Kermode is fond of describing movies as a shambolic mess. I'm going to guess it's a back-formation from shambles. :D

Hadn't heard the word before and yes, it sounds great.

Can't wait to see what Jason does with the character.

Yes - I'd like to get an iphone and will probably do it as soon as my current contract is done. Although I'm not sure I'd like to read a book on such a small screen - it would still be nice.

LOL Helen..you have the best little remarks.

I started reading this a few days a ago. Don't enjoy it as much as PG. It was a little laborious (For me).

Has anyone read 'Private' by James Patterson? Jason will be so perfect as the lead character. He owns a PI firm dealing with millionaires/celebrities.
I think it will be a big hit if turned into a TV series. People love the glitz and glory. Look at how successful Entourage is, with not much in the plot...

Sniping. I live to snipe.

Unfortunately, people don't like to think. Many found The State Within too hard to follow. Duh. You kinda need to pay attention. Inception is also getting hit with that. But if you focus on what's happening, you will be pleased with it.

Char, that sounds like it has a lot of possibilities. If only . . .

OK, Nervous Nellie here...........

Has there been any further word about the mini-series?

When do they start? The rest of the cast? Does it have a name?
