Case Histories on US TV on Oct 16th!!

Post by Chari910 » Sun Jul 10, 2011 10:24 pm

According to The New York Times:

The Masterpiece Mystery on PBS:
In a late addition to the “Masterpiece Mystery!” schedule Ms. Eaton also just finalized a deal to add a new detective to the lineup for three weeks starting Oct. 16. “Case Histories,” based on the book by Kate Atkinson, will feature a modern detective named Jackson Brodie, played by Jason Isaacs (who will also appear on NBC in the midseason paranormal series “Awake”). As in “Zen,” Ms. Eaton said, the character is a younger man “with sex appeal,” and the setting, Edinburgh, “provides tremendous geographic flavor.”

Great ....... Looking forward to it. Glad it's on PBS. No commercials.
That means the DVD won't be far behind.

I had a chuckle about that. Not that I'm objecting.

Well, if he's a younger man, then I am a mere baby. Oh yes. Happy now. ;-)

Wa hey!! Great news--and affordable!
I second the delight that this will appear sans commercials--I love BBCAmerica as much as the next person, but the commercials are utterly abhorrent.

Well, it can't be on both PBS and A&E at the same time. They're not affiliated. What gives?!
