Based on the popular and critically acclaimed novels by Kate Atkinson, this mini-series was shot on location in Edinburgh and was quickly followed by a second season.

Happy to share the screencaps.
Carole, those One Show caps reminded me about the Lucius garden gnome! I thought it was hilarious - have you got a better picture of Lucius the evil gnome? We can just see him in picture 4.
I'll see if I can get another screencap of Jason holding the gnome. Didn't realise it was a Lucius one, thought it was more Gandalf from the look of it.
Hooroo,
Carole

I managed to get these caps from BBC iPlayer. It's definitely Lucius, Alex the female presenter said so. Jason also said Lucius was looking rather the worse for wear.
The person beside Jason is Christine Walkden, a TV gardener, who was talking about the annual Chelsea Flower Show in London. Gnomes are usually banned from Chelsea, but this year is an exception.

I watched This Morning - Jason was his usual chatty self. He was very nice about Victoria Wood. It had been recorded earlier in the week, and he was wearing the deep blue shirt.
I had to laugh when he said you could tell how cold it was in Edinburgh when they were filming, by waiting till he took his jacket off and watching to see his nipples standing out through his T shirt!

I realize this is going back some pages, but on the Readers Digest interview with those cute 5 year old blue eyes: to everyone on THIS side of the pond, it's only in the UK version. I didn't know there was 1 version for us and 1 for them...but DON'T go running out to find it , cuz it aint here (I know I was pretty upset with the mailman!). You MAY, however, try contacting ReadersDigest.co.uk/magazine to purchase the 1 copy. This guy just doesn't make it easy...HEY JASON: please try to make it easier! Thanks! LN

Hmm...I watched that interview with the Gnome Gardener Lady, and I have to admit that by the end of her bit, I was feeling a little twitchy (and I was several thousand miles away). He is a good man to be able to sit there without running away and so very accepting of the weird Lucius gnome. I wonder if the Lucius Gnome mysteriously crashed to the ground on the way home...

Not a Jason interview, but a nice one with Amanda Abbington, his co-star in Case Histories, with some funny references regarding her son and one of Jason's other screen personas.

And, yes, LS, the horticultural woman on The One Show is ... not terribly easy on the senses, shall we say. I'm not specifying which senses, but it's more than one. Where's Monty Don when you need him? And garden gnomes engender the same feelings in me as Chucky in Child's Play.

Great caps, Carole. Thanks. We should flood Twitter with JB caps.

Thanks Char. Praise indeed from the cap queen.
I'm going to have a look at This Morning tonight when I get home. I also started on some Ep 2 caps as well.
I like the idea of flooding Twitter with Jackson Brodie caps.
Hooroo,
Carole
