Too true, thunder, too true.So get prepared to read a lot of articles about Awake and the star Jeremy Isaacs, Jason Northam or whatever. They probably spell it Issacs too.

Re: Reviews
On IMDB website, Jasons page, there is a reference to an interview with Howard Gordon where he talks about his new series
Homeland and Awake. He mentions the changes made to Awake to attract audiences. Nothing drastic but I think if they
want to have a hit it will have to be done.
(sorry but I couldn't get the link to work)

I checked IMDB but couldn't find the reference to the interview you're talking about. Can someone post the link please?

Angel,
Here it is. The discussion about Awake is towards the bottom of the interview.

NBC's already canceled 2 shows. They must be desperate for something to work.

Re: Reviews
I felt the change was due to come. I've described the show to several people and they all said it was too complicated. (I don't think so)
Maybe they did need to simplify it. Many people do not want to think when they watch a show regardless of what they say about
wanting something more different and interesting.

More enthusiasm: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/awake/a ... 43248.aspx.
"Britten will also have to deal with the cost of moving on in both realities during season 1 of Awake. In the red reality, his wife wants to sell their house and move, even though, to Britten, his son is still there. In the green reality, Britten is attracted to his son's tennis coach and has to wonder if he's cheating on his wife, even though she's dead in that reality. Meanwhile, every time he closes his eyes to sleep, Britten wakes up in the other reality, begging the question, how long can he really survive in both realities?
Though delayed by some production issues, Awake has already gained some critical acclaim. Look for it on NBC sometime in March 2012."
These guys have apparently been on board since Comic-Con, so that's impressive, and the choice of description for the cause of delay also puts a positive spin (or at least not a negative one) on things.

Re: Reviews
Dang it, could they stop talking about it and SHOW IT, for Potter's sake! That loooong build up of expectation might make people disappointed when it finally airs!
Re: Reviews
Hmmm. Sounds more and more like 'Life on Mars' the more I hear about it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Still wonder whether any of the UK terrestrial channels will pick it up (my only chance of seeing it before the DVD is out).
