Episode 1- 12: Two Birds

This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

I always see a bit of Michael Caffee. Keep expecting him to cut someone else's ear off. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Don't lke the way Capt. Harper goes all two-face on him. Crying about it one iute, then having them hunt him down the next. :shh :shh :shh

Oh gosh, don't even get me started on the whole Moe's ear thing. My husband was a butcher a while back, I found a frozen veal ear in a manila envelope in my freezer... "someone wasn't listening to him" (like Moe wasn't listening to Michael). Once I figured out what exactly was IN that envelope - it was difficult to discern, I took care of the "lesson to be taught". Everyone learned lessons that day: my husband learned never to leave unmarked animal parts in the freezer that weren't suitable for immedite cooking, the other guy learned to listen to my husband. It all worked out just dandy! And I learned that it was GREAT that I had seen the Godfather a couple of times already! ln

I just watched this episode today. Wow, I am really going to miss this show. I too, saw shades of Michael Caffee. They had better get this dvd fast. (Or, you know, at all.) :-(

Alas. They won't spend money on extras. We'll be lucky to get all 13 eps.

For just that reason, I've saved the eps. on my DVR. Now, if I could just figure out how to save them permanently in the event we don't get a DVD. :scratch

I've been buying them off of iTunes every week simply because I don't trust NBC to actually put them out on DVD (yeah, shocker, I know). They are $2.99 an episode, so I can sacrifice a morning coffee and bagel for Himself.

It would be great if they released a DVD set ^with^ some extras. (Helloooo, are you listening out there, our lovely producers, Jason and Kyle???? ) They did release one for the 11th Hour, which was Rufus Sewell's one season TV show (which was not nearly as good as Awake-talk about wooden female co-stars. Oi vey! *shhh! no one tell Rufus I said that!!!*), but -then- it was CBS.

That's what I've been doing too ... buying the episodes from iTunes after they air. Of course I'd buy a DVD set if they release it!

I love iTunes. I like that I can download them to my macbook pro and my ipod - this way I can watch them (and other things) on the road. :D

I think I tried to get the first episode from iTunes when they released it before the show began and I couldn't get it in Canada. I haven't tried since. (Or I might have but forgot  )
