JI sci-fi radio broadcast (Mayflies)

Derek Jacobi, Catherine McCormack, Jason Isaacs and Alex Jennings are all lined up to star in BBC Radio’s forthcoming sci-fi season.

Jacobi will play retired astronomer Douglas Scofield in Mayflies, written by Mike Maddox, which is being made by independent company Ladbroke Productions.
McCormack, who appeared in The 39 Steps at the Criterion in the West End, plays Scofield’s daughter, Lucy.
The production also stars Isaacs, Danny Webb, Steven Cree and Sarah Douglas. It will air in Radio 4’s Afternoon Play slot on Friday, March 13.

I think we can get radio 4 via the BBCs iPlayer here in the US. It doesn't work for TV, but it does work for radio.

Sounds interesting.

Yeah, radio. So we'll hear Jason's and Derek's distinct and mellifluous voices and just have to imagine them speaking their lines.

Brills, Char! Thanks!
Douglas Scofield (Jacobi), an eminent astronomer, has retired to the Hampshire countryside, where he runs a fish farm.
I'm getting a strange feeling of deja vu.
