LOL Helen. I've changed it. Must have looked at the pic of Jason on the rear of the box when doing it to make the fingers slip.

I've finished listening to this. Like Carole said, the story is quite complicated (so it needs full attention when listening to it). I liked it so much that I will buy the next one too.

It's impressing how he swaps between characters from different ages, sexes and accents. (and not the least personalities!)

BTW, JI does a very good "old woman" impression :lol

Good to hear you enjoyed the audiobook, Thunder. It was a convoluted plot with lots of moving around between characters and timelines. However, it did keep you interested. I can't wait for the other two and also to find some of the novels by the author to get another view of her style. Jason does each character very well, even the old ladie.

I quite enjoy audio books. I just close my eyes, concentrate on the voice and words being spoken and am taken away to another place. Best one I've ever heard has to be Return of the Native, read by Alan Rickman. Never has Thomas Hardy seemed so wonderful. ;-)

I hope you don't listen while you drive.

LOL Kim.
I find that one of the highest qualities in listening to someone. If I can fall alseep to their voice, they've got what it takes in my books.

I received the second audio book (One Good Turn) yesterday, and I've finished it. (And for the record: I fell asleep three times :lol It wasn't boring, but listening to audio books makes me sleepy)

I liked this one too. The story was less complicated than the first one (It's a sequel, BTW). It was easier to follow, and Jason did a wonderful job as always.

I usually prefer to read the books myself, but I make exceptions for JI anytime.

Excellent Thunder. I'm ordering my copy with a few extra items as well today. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

You should be able to. All 3 audiobooks are available. I'm about to order the third set. Am enjoying the wonderful Scottish accents Jason does in the second one "One Good Turn" set in Edinburgh.
