"Northwest? How 'bout giving me left, right?"
Love it!
Thanks, thunder.
In the first clip he mentions the dinner at the Embassy for 100 guests. That'll be the scenes we saw filming in ABQ.

Did the episode end in the ambassodor's office? I'm not sure I saw all of it.
I have to write more later, got to get some work done...

Re: Episode 2: Catch You Later
I had 2 iPads on with @jasonsfolly and #DigDeeper in the search box of each. So I missed a lot on screen but it was so much fun and worth it.
Now I just need to concentrate and re-watch it again
Jason just tweeted that he'll be doing the live tweets for the next 8 Episodes! He must be enjoying it too. Don't think it was in the contract that "YOU MUST LIVE TWEET...."

Re: Episode 2: Catch You Later
Yeah, thunder. My recording cut off before the end. Must add 5 minutes to the end of the recording time.
Nice to point out to DH that the checkpoint was in ABQ and the Consulate steps were a municipal bldg. there, too. It was edited seamlessly to look like they were still in Jerusalem.
So, shades of The State Within and Sharon Gless, with madame ambassador in on the conspiracy here. Poor Mark Brydon; poor Peter Connolly. I wonder why the last stone is the hardest to find. Guess we'll find out.

Char - you sound like me! I had my iPhone and iPad going at the same time - but finally just kept to Jasons - since his tweets were much more amusing!

Re: Episode 2: Catch You Later
I try to stay away from twitter until I have seen the episode. Don't want to be spoiled too much... But I love to read the live tweets after I've seen it!

Re: Episode 2: Catch You Later
Here's some . . . okay, a lot . . . of info about the Essenes:
http://essenespirit.com/who.html
Since the archaeological discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1946, the word "Essene" has made its way around the world--often raising a lot of questions. Many people were astonished to discover that, two thousand years ago, a brotherhood of holy men and women, living together in a community, carried within themselves all of the seeds of Christianity and of future western civilization. This brotherhood--more or less persecuted and ostracized--would bring forth people who would change the face of the world and the course of history. Indeed, almost all of the principal founders of what would later be called Christianity were Essenes--St. Ann, Joseph and Mary, John the Baptist, Jesus, John the Evangelist, etc.
The Essenes considered themselves to be a separate people--not because of external signs like skin color, hair color, etc., but because of the illumination of their inner life and their knowledge of the hidden mysteries of nature unknown to other men. They considered themselves to be also a group of people at the center of all peoples--because everyone could become part of it, as soon as they had successfully passed the selective tests.
They thought, and rightly so, that they were the heirs of God's sons and daughters of old, the heirs to their great ancient civilization. They possessed their advanced knowledge and worked assiduously in secret for the triumph of the light over the darkness of the human mind.
They felt that they had been entrusted with a mission, which would turn out to be the founding of Christianity and of western civilization. They were supported in this effort by highly evolved beings who directed the brotherhood. They were true saints, Masters of wisdom, hierophants of the ancient arts of mastery.
There's much, much more on the Web site.

Re: Episode 2: Catch You Later
Forgot to comment on the Norwegian aspect. The guy spoke English with a convincing quite thick Norwegian accent. Checked him out, and the actor (Christopher Heyerdah) is 50/50 Canadian/Norwegian. So he probably has some family role models...
The Norwegian geography is completely insane though.
