This says the director sues the producers for having changed the movie without him knowing about it.

And it sounds like the changes are rather inflammatory!! Wow - interesting read (yes I even read the court papers.)

Wow. That kind of controversy can't be good for the movie.

TIFF pulls London Fields from the lineup because of the lawsuit:

http://deadline.com/2015/09/london-fiel ... 201531844/
We have worked to make our festival a public showcase for creative expression through the moving image, however with uncertainty surrounding the creative vision of the version of the film scheduled to be screened on September 18th, we feel it is only appropriate that we remove this film from the Festival lineup

we usually say that Jason is the best thing in a movie. Even just a nanosecond of his eyes (sigh) in Resident Evil was worth waiting for. Right?

Well…Wow. I was hoping to see something of Jason's at the Philadelphia Film Festival, and yet again I am disappointed! *shakes fist*

Although Michael Fassbender seems to be a PFF favorite (not that I'm complaining).

I have trouble taking these people seriously now...
Amber Heard is being sued by the makers of her new movie ‘London Fields’ for $10 million, alleging that she reneged on contractual agreements and refused to do nude scenes.
(...)

She’s also being sued for failing to take part in the movie’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, which was later pulled from the schedule, despite contractual clauses which require her to take part in publicising the film.

Was this movie released at all in the end? Has anyone seen it?

More info here, if you bother to read it...

A 24-page complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court says:
“Heard had previously also, in concert with other actors in the Picture, engaged in the following improper conduct: failing to render acting services in conformance with the shooting script; conspiring with Cullen to make unauthorized, material changes to the shooting script; aiding Cullen and conspiring with him to violate his contractual agreements with Plaintiff; and failing to render ADR services in accordance with her contractual obligations and conspiring with others to do the same…..

…Additionally, Heard participated in a concerted campaign of disinformation against Plaintiff and the Picture, which has significantly damaged both. As a result of Beard ‘s tortious misconduct and breaches, the Picture remains in limbo-its sale, distribution, and release have been thwarted, and the investments of Plaintiff and the Picture’s other investors have been severely, if not irreparably, harmed.”

So it hasn't been released yet, and no they are all suing each other. :hit
