Well...I loved that episode too! I watched it...100000002 times! it's so good!
And yeah RaveGyrl, episode 5 when he's on the bed...and the sheet is covering his..WOW!...

ay ya yay!...Too hot!!!

I'm just seeing the series for the first time (got Showtime for this only). Does it take some time to figure out the characters and their history together? Or am I slow, LOL? I'm impressed already, and Jason is wonderful, as always.

connect with the characters....

I'd like to add that in the subject of 'Brotherhood' all attempts to behave ourselves may well slip out the window. When it comes to certain characters, that may prove a little more difficult to accomplish in certain situations.
And, that's all I have to add.

My fave line is between Michael and Pete:
Pete: "So, where've you been?"
Michael(reaching into car trunk): "I was at the library."

Too late. Saw episode 2 last night.....the one where Michael leans on a liquor store owner (A Finnerty, nonetheless) and gets her to sell the store to him by having her mentally-challenged brother play "Russian Roulette". (Wasn't too fond of him for a while after this, in fact the first time I saw these episodes, I skipped this one. Now I know why.

)
But, this line that Pete McGonagall(sp?) says later in the day, I just have to submit it.:(mind you, not exactly word perfect)
"That Moe's got his head so far up Freddie's ass, it's like he's renting an apartment up there or something."

The scene where Rose "tucks" Michael in bed, is pretty amusing, too.

the first episode last week is considered the "Pilot" episode...

I know last nights ep is the second, but I kinda like thinking of it as
the first ep of the series...

The characters become more solid, and we see Michael's temper,
and then his Mom tuck him in to go to sleep...in this episode,
Michael puts his plans into motion, and nothing will stop him...

I never figured out the relationship he had with psycho college
coed Shannon...too young for him, and too freakin weird...guess
it was her age....

I'm guessing she's maybe bipolar.....good thing Michael left her there.
He was looking pretty nervous sitting with her at that bar.
I think the fact that he lost his temper is what was bothering him at home.
He really would rather to do THAT to Freddie, than some stupid college-age boys. (I'm guessing they were drunk.)

watched eps 4 and 5 last night on SHO (2), and there are 2 more eps
on next Sunday, August 3 .....

Yes, these are Season One eps...it's weird to go back and view Season
One, after watching Season Two...

OMG, the psycho college girl, and Michael with all his tattoos...LOL

OMG! That's what it is? I was watching last night, and I know he's got a shamrock on his left arm, the Irish flag on the right arm, and the Celtic Cross on his back(my fave), but I just couldn't make out what tat he has on his *sigh* chest.
Psycho chick didn't leave after watching Michael sleep.....in fact, I think we've got a "groupie" on our hands. *TwilightZoneThemeplaying*
Geez, get a life already, girl.....

My fave scene, is when they're at the Biltmore, and she wants to go back to his "place",.....he tells her they can't because his mother is there.....so she goes to get ice, and meets an old man at the machine...he returns to his room, and Michael's mother is getting "comfortable".....Ewwww! I can't get that image out of my head now.

I heard the best line from Season 1 the other night.....
Mary-Rose walks into the liquor store, and Michael wants her to get to school, she tells him(indignantly) :"School's boring." And he answers, "Of course it's boring, it's school!"
This line made me laugh. I hope there's more scenes between Michael and Mary-Rose this Season.
