Um. Marilaine? Is someone at Showtime now walking around with enflamed pustules all over their body? [shudder]

er, no, Helen....it's not a curse (that's not allowed in Wicca).....this is a summoning spell.....meant to call someone to you. And, in this case, Michael is being summoned. :cherub

Premature rumors of series’ end

Post by Chari910 » Wed Nov 19, 2008 5:46 pm

Projo.com stated SHO is denying the rumors..

The viewership dropped because they did nothing to promote it.

Oh, thank God! *makingsignofthecross*
Do t-shirts count as advertisement? Cuz I made a white one that reads,
SAVE THE CAFFEES....SAVE THE WORLD!
and I'm tempted to put on the back.....SHO me the CAFFEE! ;-)

Obviously if they promote it, more people will actually watch.
(why don't they just do it?) nuke.gif

Couldn't CBS promote it with some selective ads? :loco

Finally watched episode 3, and after the credits, they did include Brotherhood in their advertisement along with Dexter, Californication, Tudors, et al. So, that's some promotion.

Not everybody subscribes to Showtime, so they have to obtain external advertisement.....if you don't know about it, how can you be watching it?

M(C), you've got a point there. You would think that they'd want to increase not only viewership but new subscribers? That's a no-brainer, too! I may have answered my own question.

I really feel Showtime needs more external advertisement.......they can't expect people to just know about it, they have to make it more accessible, billboards, and the like. Otherwise, they'll lose too much in the long run.
