Here's a review that I found:
https://filmink.com.au/reviews/review-r ... true-blue/
The sequel begins with a wait-a-sec-what’s-happening-here meta flourish as harried businessman, Michael Carter (Brit import, Jason Isaacs, doing a top notch Aussie accent), takes his two young sons to the movies…to see Red Dog! After the screening, Michael reveals to his young son that he was actually the first owner of the pooch that would eventually become famous for uniting the disparate residents of a WA mining town.

Darn. Sounds like he's in the very beginning (with his great Aussie accent) and, with any luck, at the very end? Once again, we'll take what we can get.

Thanks, thunder.

It says he tells it through flash back. So I*m thinking maybe a couple of scenes...?

Here's another review. It's a good review, but they have some issues wit the first movie being watched by characters in this movie. I kinda see their point. It's not breaching the 4th wall, exactly, but... I don't really know. It's a bit strange isn't it? Especially if you have seen the first... which I haven't, so I'll be good.

They seem to like the rest. :D

OK, am I the only one who missed the fact that there was a move called Red Dog? :-(

I am hoping that if there is not a lot of Jason on screen, we might at least get some narration.

It was brought up so long ago you may have forgotten!! Plus Jason had warned us that he did not have much screen time!

Jason Isaacs says Red Dog: True Blue film reminded him of working on Harry Potter
