Re: Book: Drastic Measures
I have it but have not had a chance to read it.
Re: Book: Drastic Measures
If you have e-books, don't stop reading at the end. Keep flipping after the credits, etc.
The last part was worth it. Prime Lorca imprisoned in a non StarFleet facility, in solitary.
He had no clue how he got there. He was not tortured but all the guards never let him see their faces or talked with him. He kept one special fortune cookie paper hidden.
Hmmmm....

Me too!
Re: Book: Drastic Measures
Marie and Helen, help me here. At Pensacon panel he was asked about future role that he will be most looking forward to play.
I'm not exactly sure what the question was but He answered 'Prime Lorca'.

Sorry, Char. My memory is unreliable at best. I don't even recall his answer that you wrote.

I think it was ”If you could play. Any character in Discovery other than yours - what character would you be?”
Unless he is playing us again - I get the impression he was being honest when he said he would only do it - if it was amazing writing.

Re: Book: Drastic Measures
A few of us went to Pensacon in Pensacola Florida. Hey Marie you live in Florida - must have been easy! Me: No it is ten hours away - I had to fly!
Jason's stock in the world is going up! His was the most expensive individual photograph - $80 USD. Also his autograph was $80 USD - he never lacked a line either. The poor guy was signing autographs if he was not doing a panel or doing the photographs. Only the group photos were more expensive. But this was a small convention compared to a lot we have been to - and Jason was definitely one of the better known "current" actors/actresses. So at some of the larger conventions - $80 seems like a bargain - some celebs were over $100 dollars. I think Stan Lee was $180 at MegaCon two years ago.
It's always nice to get together with friends! The Convention vibe is always exciting! I'll be honest though - I think I've enjoyed some of Jason's charity events better. Those get less publicity though and we don't always hear about them in time to make plans.

At Stockholm Comicon, a photo with Jason was around 20 dollars, and signature about 15... Price has gone up!
