Glad to see Bill Maher is back after being muzzled on Politically Incorrect by the neocons.

According to electoral-vote.com, it's 51 Dems to 49 Reps in the Senate and 239 Dems to 195 Reps in the House.
We're counting on voter turnout overcoming Diebold hacking.

I'm normally fiscally conservative (hence I vote Republican a lot) however this year I voted all Democratic except for one Representative who I feel just does a really good job for our district (Mitch Needleman!) Gov, Sen, Agriculture etc etc etc. Actually I had no problem voting for the correct candidates this year and except for one - they were NOT Republicans.

I think it's important to separate social conservative from fiscal conservative. I am a fiscal conservative, and therefore, am a Democrat. Republicans want to spend, spend, spend, but also reduce taxes for high income taxpayers. The math just doesn't work.

Right now, I'm over the moon -- we will get rid of that loser, Bob Ehrlich, and Mr. Oreo himself, Michael Steele.

Rick Santorium is out (teehee)

Closely watching MO. ST. Louis isn't in yet, so am hoping McCaskill can beat Talent. Looks like most of the results already reported have been from downstate, and she hasn't done that badly downstate.

Marie, I'm not really a party voter either--and I find these Democrats far too conservative for my taste.
However, as Bill succinctly illustrates, Bush is no fiscal conservative.

It's good to see that the current public mood is now being reflected in the House of Representatives. I guess the only loose ends now are Virginia and Montana and that could take days (weeks?) before that's sorted out.
