Articles and interviews

While we wait for something more to be released (and because Jason-news dried up for the last week or so): Yahoo made an article about "everything we know" about Archie so far:

It looks like the previous post broke the draught spell, because here is a teaser for Jason's interview in the December issue of Emoire Magazine. New picture we haven't seen before too:

That image is just amazing. How he managed the make up chair for five hours a day is beyond me. It looks like the project is possibly been lined up for the Christmas schedule so that is proof it has come out well. So looking forward to this.

He must be very patient.
I really look forward to this too, the more I hear about it.

I see the 5 hours was for the older Cary Grant, so not every day.

He looks very orange in a lot of the photos, which isn't very flattering IMO. I assume Cary Grant must have had a real or fake dark tan.

I do hope this project does well!

In one of the new pics, he's got bare legs, and the legs are normal coloured, while his face and hands are pretty orange. :lol

New picture and interview in The Daily Mail:

It reminds a lot about the Empire interview, so I'm not sure if they got it from there.

A very good article/interview from The Guardian:

There's a new picture in there as well.

That Guardian one is good - and explains the orangeness!

It's also interesting about Laura Aikman playing Dyan Cannon. It's a shame Cary Grant wasn't able to stay married to any of his wives.

I wonder if he changed his name officially given that his daughter's surname is Grant.

From that doc I saw he did change his name officially. On an odd side note he is related to the comedian Dave Gorman by marraige.

Radio Times interview:

The print version might be longer...?

And Total TV Guide has Jason as Archie on the front page:

The Radio Times print version is a bit longer, and also slightly different in part. There are quotes about Cary/Archie from Dyan Cannon and Jennifer Grant and some background on Archie's life.

The photo in the yellow shirt is also in the print version, in a sort of "trailer" for the article near the front of the magazine. The main article has two photos, neither is the online one. One is Jason as Archie, head & shoulders in a suit, beside a huge photo of Cary Grant in a suit. The other is Jason (suited) posing with a babe (or doll?) in arms & Laura Aikman beside a photo of Cary Grant & Dyan Cannon with baby Jennifer.

I'm not clear whether will this be shown on actual TV, I think it's only available on ITVX streaming (from 18 Nov).

It's going to be on BritBox from December, but I don't know the exact date.

Two new pictures, thanks to Jason Isaacs News on x/Twitter:

https://twitter.com/jasonisaacsnews/sta ... 0216281542 (Archie and his mother, I think)
