HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE welcomes back stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson for the fourth film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's popular Harry Potter novel series. Harry must contend with being mysteriously selected to compete in the prestigious Triwizard Tournament, a thrilling competition that pits him against older and more experienced students from Hogwarts and two rival wizarding schools. Meanwhile, supporters of Harry's nemesis, the evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), send a shockwave of fear throughout the wizard community when their Dark Mark scorches the sky at the Quidditch World Cup, signaling Voldemort's return to power. But for Harry, this is not the only harrowing news causing him anxiety -- he still has yet to find a date for Hogwarts' Yule Ball dance.

Joining the ensemble are several new cast members, led by Ralph Fiennes as the evil Lord Voldemort; Miranda Richardson as muckraking journalist Rita Skeeter; and Brendan Gleeson who plays Hogwarts' new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Mad-Eye Moody. Frances De La Tour plays Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Madame Maxime; Roger Lloyd Pack plays the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation, Barty Crouch; Pedja Bjelac plays Durmstrang Institute Headmaster Igor Karkaroff; Jeff Rawle plays Amos Diggory; and David Tennant plays Barty Crouch Junior.

New additions to the young cast include Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory; Stanislav Ianevski as Quidditch star Viktor Krum; Clemence Poesy as Fleur Delacour; and Katie Leung as Cho Chang.

Returning are Tom Felton as Harry's archrival Draco Malfoy; Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid; Michael Gambon as Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore; Robert Hardy as Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge; Shirley Henderson as Moaning Myrtle; Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy; Gary Oldman as Sirius Black; Alan Rickman as Professor Snape; Dame Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall; Timothy Spall as Peter Pettigrew; and Mark Williams as Arthur Weasley.

The film is directed by Mike Newell from a screenplay by Steve Kloves and produced by David Heyman. David Barron and Tanya Seghatchian serve as the executive producers.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE will be released worldwide on November 18, 2005. I went to http://www.thesnitch.net/site/index.php#3590 and saved it. What a fantastic trailer! It was well worth the hour it took to download.

Great looking trailer.

Still no sign of Lucius though. I hope we get some glimpse before the movie hits the theatres.
