Severus Snape's Screen Time

He's one of my favorite HP characters, but he didnt have much screen time...
I was surprised that he didn't have more screen time. I had expected to see more of the comings and goings at Hogwarts as well. Maybe we will get more in the second part in June. I think we really need to, or we won't get a whole picture of what is going on. They mentioned on the Wizarding Wireless that Severus was the new Headmaster, but that was it ... other than the one scene in the beginning of the film at Malfoy Manor. Though I must say that was the yummiest Severus has ever looked. {Grins}

It may sound weird, but I find Snape an attractive character. LOL!
He's not the most handsome man but there's something appealing about him.

I'm definitely with you there, as I think I mentioned in an earlier post too {chuckles} I've always had a harder time because when I'm asked who my favorite HP characters are I get weird looks because I say Severus, Hermione, Draco and Lucius (or any combination of those three with her {winks}) People are all up in arms that I don't say Harry or Ron. It is amazing too what the nicer hair did for the overall outlook of the the Severus Snape character too.

I guess they're trying to soften his look because this is the book where we find out that he's been a good guy/triple agent all along. You know. If your hair looks good, then you look good.

Makes sense. I believe the way we look says something about our personality.

Rickman has one of the best voices period. It's incredible. I've only heard one movie where he played a detective from Louisiana - where his voice was awful (but then again he was trying to nail a very difficult accent.) Otherwise I can just listen to that voice all day.

Marie, I remember that movie. I think Emma Thompson was also in it, using a terrible Southern accent as well. I recall an interview they did where they laughed at each other for how bad their accents were.

I just checked imdb and it was called Judas Kiss. I think it took place in New Orleans.

Yes - that was it. Just awful watching two brilliant actors who were obviously miscast in this movie. His normally delicious voice came out more like a constant whine and Emma's was just a slight tad better.

Truly, Madly, Deeply. Now there is a piece of art! I have watched it soooo many times I could quote the script.

I also like the BBC version with David Morrissey. Well, I'm a Jane Austen addict! :mrgreen:
