It was very different to the previous Harry Potters which isnt necessarily a bad thing, I havent read the books, so I cant make any comparisions.

As usual, the cast were excellent. Jason Isaacs performance as a vunerable, weak Lucius was brilliant. Helen Bonham Carter's portrayal of Bellatrix was pretty scary to say the least.

Must get round to reading the books!!

Roseanna.

Just came back from seeing it with Sprog. Thank heavens for this message board-I haven't read the books either, and without you guys and Sprog, I would have been clueless.
btw, did anyone recognize the actor who played Albert Runcorn, Harry's person?
HAR--I think Angel might remember: David O'Hara has another claim to fame in these here parts. He's the actor who was originally cast as Charlie Beck in Passionada!! I don't know whose idea that was, but fortunately for us, he walked off the set. :D

Oh, man. I just don't see him as a love interest. At all!!
A blue-faced Scot? Yes. But not a love interest? No.

I just saw Part 1 and thought the ending was great! I liked the whole movie! I found the scenes in the forest to be rather long in the book, but enjoyed it in the movie. I suppose if it had been one movie those scene would have been rather short.

I LOVED Lucius! I think he and Draco regret what they've done because Lucius has been beaten up so much that he realizes he's just being used rather than being useful.

It was all very exciting in the Ministry of Magic. Those actors played the Harry, Hermione and Ron quite well!

Dobby looked like he was wearing a pair of Reeboks I once wore back in the 80's! I had a lump in my throat when he died!

He and Tom Felton were excellent! I liked how he tried to be tough when someone was looking.

They actually reminded me of a pair of shoes my Dad used to wear. Same color, too. Dobby always had a pashion for Muggle clothes. :lol

It took me a moment to realize he's from THE TUDORS, Final Season. Playing the uncle to Katherine Howard, Henry's 5, wife. *achildbride*

Has anyone noticed that Dobby talks about himself in the third person?

"Dobby has no Master. Dobby is a free elf. And, Dobby is going to save Harry Potter and his friends."
