Kids...Ya gotta love 'em...

Post by DhaniGrrrrl » Tue Feb 26, 2008 8:34 pm

My 11 year old son is at that age where if there's any kinda trouble, he WILL find it!!

And the worst part of all is that no matter how many times I tell him to stop doing whatever it is he's doing, he doesn't listen, in fact, he ignores me...I'm on the verge of a headache over here, now... :bat

Even though he's a major pain in the bum, I love the little brat!

Ok, I'm done ranting now... :D

Yes, rant...that's what the Bitch Box is here for. LOL

Kids are cute, but not for me. At least for now.
I'm 26 years old but I don't see myself as a mommy yet.

Poor Dhani, what are you gonna do?
I say sell him on the black market.
Nothing builds character like a Filipino sweat shop. :D

The only thing I'm good at is making my animals listen to me. They're the same way. I tell them not to do things a million times, they do them anyway knowing exactly that they aren't supposed to be doing it. I finally got through to one who was, over the course of several days, jumping in the kitchen window and eating a bouquet of flowers that was making him sick. One day I was making cookies in the vicinity and particularly didn't want him there. After the forth time putting him on the floor and countless amounts of cat whining, I just grabbed the little hose on the kitchen sink and started spraying. One blow to the face and he knew I meant business. He's been a VERY good cat ever since then. Sometimes it takes non-harmful abuse to do the trick! Luckily for the world, it'll be a long time before I have my own kids to scar for life with wooden spoons!

Heheheheheh, if the hose on my kitchen sink were working, I'd have sprayed my son with it long ago!

But then again, he can be SO melodramatic, you'd think I had hit him with a wooden spoon!!

Fortunately, he's gone to his dad's for the weekend, so it's gonna be nice and quiet around here...w00t!

Kim, I'm speechless!!!!!
We're struggling through senior year in high school at my house. Struggle would be the operative word there. :-|

I'm afraid that at this point my Ramones mantra would be, "I wanna be sedated . . ." :-(

You're all just children compared to me. My daughter is Jasons age and my grandsons are 21 and 17. Love them dearly but it's nice to leave their problems to their mother. Your's too will grow up someday; much too soon and you'll wonder where all those years went to.
