Construction on Staples in same spot

Ok. You all know I think the letters C.C. should actually stand for CONSTANT CONSTRUCTION, due to all of the work done on various streets. BUT, they seem to do and re-do, and re-do the same area (Staples at Weber) forever. First, the side the McD's is on, then the Walgreens/Starbucks, then back to McD's, and back again. It's like, "We're being paid by the hour, so we're gonna linger on this spot forever.

FINISH ALREADY WOULD YA! Friggin' Stupid Guys!

Something like that happens here. I think it's to do with funding. Most cities are experiencing shortages due to the economy, so work gets done whenever, with whatever monies are available.

Tis the season for roadworks. While we were up north we took two day trips to a provincial park to go hiking and they had a lot of road work going on. Fortunately, we had good music to occupy us.

Meanwhile, roads that need it bad are being neglected further. They can't possibly need more money.....our taxes pay for a majority of it.
