He's so suave, isn't he? (sigh) ::drool.
The sweetest part is when he's trying to win her over with the flowers....
and he meets her Mother-in-law.....and she tells her (after he leaves)
"I've been a widow for 35 years.....don't you make that same mistake."

Or his line, "The sea is going to be smooth as a pool table." (Awww!)
Gushing over here.......

Hey! Does anybody happen to know if they film portions of Brotherhood in New Bedford? The neighborhoods she passes in her car look like Michael's neighborhood in Providence?

P.S. I'm totally convinced that bartender in that one scene is Marty Trio.....I can feel it. (DUDE!)~marilaine

U R correct, the bartender from Passionada is the same actor
who plays Marty Trio....and, the MC who introduces "Celia Amonte"
at the restaurant, plays the head of the Italian mob in BH....

No, BH is filmed in and around Providence, and Passionada
was filmed in New Bedford...although, the Casino is actually
I believe in Connecticut, and a farther distance away ...

New Bedford is about a 1/2 drive from Providence....

Marie is from New Bedford, she may be able to help more
with your questions....

Providence looks a lot like some parts of New Bedford. The old tenement houses and factories and old small Mom & Pop stores are very similar. Passionada was filmed in and around the southeastern Massachusetts area but the only part filmed outside of Massachusetts was the casino (I think!) I'm not aware of any filming on BH that takes place outside of RI.

(Many thanks to Marzia of JIMB for that one. :D )
I personally love his black t-shirt,blue jeans ensemble theme. Classic Michael for me. :D (drool, sigh)
GOD, I am so glad we have Showtime.....I can't imagine not having the "opportunity and the privelege" of seeing this show.
(Can you imagine JI as Tavington going after Moe? ::rofl  ) ~marilaine

Marilaine,

I don't have the opportunity and the privilege of seeing that show.

So, enjoy your OVER CAFFEE DOSE. *devilish smile*

(I wonder where Marzia is)

Wait? You havent seen[b] Brotherhood[/b]? You are definitely missing really great drama. (Jason puts the Rah! in Drama! Mark it, baby!)
It centers between the lives and careers of the Caffees; Michael, a Mafia-officianado, and his brother, Tommy, a politician. Too much to tell now, cuz it's must-see TV. Last Season left Tommy picking up the pieces of his crumbling maarriage, and Michael taking over for jail-bird Freddie Cork. Tommy had an affair, Michael, suffering from post-injury-induced seizures and trying to make a "normal" life for himself, and his 'lover', Kath(a married woman). Struggling with his own dark past and trying to rectify it to his mother, Rose, and Tommy (Mr. Goody-two-shoes. Or so he'd like to believe). Phew! See what I mean? :loco
This is on Showtime, sometime between [i]Californication[/i], and [i]Weeds[/i].
Hope I more or less gave you the basis of the show. :D ~marilaine

Thank you sweetie, for giving me the basis of the show. *smiles*

Well, I've seen a few episodes online, can't watch brotherhood on TV because I don't have showtime.

Jason is fantastic as Michael Caffee, isn't he? He'd be my favorite character after Tavington.

18 bucks???!!!!

I live in South America and the region code is 4.

Hmmm...I have Power DVD installed on my computer but I don't know if it plays multiple region dvds. :???:

Damn, I wonder why they don't release discs without region coding.

Thanks for the heads up anyway, Kj!

Michael Caffee is probably my top fave. (Sorry, Tommy!)
I remember when I first started watching (Season 1 repeats were on last August), and they had these DEA agents at the Police Station, I kept thinking:"Man, I can't believe Lucius is in this. (giggle) I wonder if DEA stands for [b]"Death Eaters Association!"[/b] ::rofl ~marilaine
You really should see him in a black t-shirt and blue jeans. :naughty:
DROOL FUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ~marilaine

(Marilaine, sorry to veer off-topic, but I am wondering why I keep seeing the code for things like italicization, bolding, etc. in your posts rather than the italics themselves. Have you put a check in any of the boxes underneath the space for reply--"Disable BBCode in this post", for example? If so, can you uncheck them?)
